The popular US television series Beverly Hills 90210 was a phenomenon. Although it was based on a bunch of teenagers, both teens and adults tuned in every week to see what happened. For those of you who have kids, you probably prayed they never had drama like these kids. But today is a celebration of the show Beverly Hills 90210. Why? Because it IS 90210! Today is September (9) 02 10 (2010). Ok, a bit of a stretch but so was the show.

As popular as Beverly Hills 90210 was, we in the UK aired all but the last seasons of it and it was popular here too. Plus we took a cue from it and launched our own remake, updating it and basing it on UK characters. Whether a fan of the original American version, Beverly Hills 90210 or the new 90210 today is the day to celebrate so drag out your old videos of it and send off some sky lanterns at a 90210 party.

You can write your favourite characters on the sky lanterns and send them off or your favourite show summary. For those who were really into the series you can even relate a favourite memory of the show. While it has been a few years since the original aired, there are still fans. You may have grown up and won’t admit to watching it but with it being so popular certainly some have watched it. Today is the day to come out and be proud of your 90210 status.
